This in-person event is the first of its kind offering 11 hours of RACE-approved CE. You cannot afford to miss it.
Over three transformative days, our live event is carefully designed to address the unique challenges faced by veterinarians and animal care professionals in combating compassion fatigue. Through a series of expert-led lectures, interactive activities, and sharing sessions, participants will explore vital topics such as stress management, self-care techniques, resilience building, and effective communication strategies.
Our comprehensive retreat curriculum is crafted to equip attendees with practical tools and insights to foster their well-being, enhance professional satisfaction, and promote sustainable, compassionate care for both animals and themselves.
Explore the core principles of creating a healthy culture in the veterinary workplace, or in your own personal life, through our focus on the five culture bolsters. Veterinary hospitals often face culture challenges contributing to fatigue and burnout. During the retreat you will discover practical strategies for transforming your hospital culture, reducing compassion fatigue, and fostering staff well-being.
Through this segment, gain insights into cultivating compassion, resilience, clear direction, ongoing training, and effective delegation, creating an environment where both animals and caregivers thrive.
Veterinarians & technicians will receive 11 hours of RACE-Approved credits for this 3-day event.
The AAVSB’s Registry of Approved Continuing Education (RACE) program develops and applies uniform standards for veterinary medicine continuing education.
